Danny Hynds is a composer, filmmaker, and creative technologist from the US. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Columbia College and a Master of Fine Arts in Experimental Sound Practices from CalArts. His former mentors include Marcos Balter, Stephen Chiodo, Daniel R. Dehaan, and Spencer Salazar. Currently a PhD student at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media Design under the guidance of professor Kouta Minamizawa, his research is focused on the implementation of physiological sensing and haptics in compositional practices.
