Franziska Mueller is a 5th-year PhD candidate in the Graphics, Vision and Video group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. During her PhD she has worked on several methods for real-time hand reconstruction from RGB and depth images, focusing on challenging scenarios like strongly occluded or interacting hands. She is especially interested in the combination of model-based techniques and machine-learning components. She holds a MSc in Computer Science from Saarland University.
