Dr. Hannah Kum-Biocca is an Associate Director, Media Interface Network Design (M.I.N.D.) Lab and an Assistant Professor at the School of Art and Design, New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. She has been a faculty member at over 10 design research campuses after graduating MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London, UK and Ph.D. from Sungkyunkwan University.

Dr. Kum-Biocca is an interactive media artist. Her research is in interaction design including work on video mapping, AR/VR, and interactive user experience design featured in 30+ Exhibitions in 11 countries. Among her several publications are three design books, several research articles, and many presentations.

Dr. Kum-Biocca was lead User Experience Designer at Hewlett-Packard Inc. Her professional portfolio includes designs for Google, Korea Telecom and several tech companies.

Dr. Kum-Biocca’s design projects have been supported by grants and funding from 30+ organizations including the National Research Foundation, NSF i-corp, Korea Telecom, Winter Olympics, etc.
