Chun Wei Ooi is a PhD candidate who is in his second year at Trinity College Dublin. He received his master degree in Tsukuba University, Japan.
His research interest is exploring different methods to improve human interactions in optical see-though augmented reality(AR).
He takes a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the fields of computer-generated holography, optics and photonics, as well as human visual perception.
He is a member of Siggraph Asia production team who manages social media output such as video coverage during the conference.
