With an extensive research background in biomedical science and a longstanding interest in the visual arts, Andrew works as the lead 3D artist and pre-rendered content developer in the 3D Visualisation Aesthetics Lab (3DVAL), UNSW Sydney, School of Art & Design. Before joining the group, Andrew completed his PhD in Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of Melbourne while developing skills in 3D animation and real-time graphics, giving him the specialized knowledge to understand and develop creative solutions to complex scientific visualizations. Andrew’s work explores the delicate balance between scientific accuracy and visual aesthetics in scientific storytelling.
