Scottie Chih-Chieh Huang
Ph.D. in Architecture of NTUST, is currently an assistant professor of the Center for General Education and the Interdisciplinary Program of Technology and Art at the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), and the Director of the BioLogicDesign (BLD) studio. His main specialties are technological art, product design, digital design and fabrication, and human-computer interaction, interested in using bionic mechanism to develop computational system for visual art and kinetic structure. He was invited to artist-in-residence of GRAME-CNCM (Centre National de Création Musicale) Lyon in France, co-produce the musical "Transparence Tryptique", and was the curator of the SIGGRAPH Asia Art Gallery in 2016. His creation and research presented in ZKM, SIGGRAPH, CHI, VIS, ALIFE, EARTRA, NYSCI, ISEA, CAAD FUTURES, won the second place of Milan's SaloneSatellite Award, and the award of excellence by Communication Arts Annual and other awards.
